Would it be a good idea to start a Discord community?
First, I apologize. There were some server issues due to a recent surge in traffic during the Hungarian Grand Prix. I'd like to create a community using a service like Discord to actively share information and issues related to these issues. What do you think? Alternatively, let me know if you use Slack or another platform you frequently.
A message to all F1 cosmos users.
Hello everyone! The F1 season just kicked off recently, and the excitement is real! :) I'm writing to apologize that from the end of last season up until this week, I was tied up with other delayed projects. Because of this, I haven't been able to actively update the service, aside from essential fixes needed to keep things running smoothly. I am truly sorry about this. Despite this, I am so grateful to everyone who has continued to use the service. Starting with the upcoming Chinese Grand Prix, I plan to roll out the backlogged updates and apply your valuable feedback one by one. Thank you all so much once again!
Not working
I found this page not working. I used to love it, so I want it back. Please fix it!😶
F1 Cosmos intermittently unavailable from Armenia
Hello! The f1cosmos.com website intermittently becomes completely unreachable on all devices connected to my home Wi-Fi in Armenia. Other websites, including your Featurebase page, continue to work normally. F1 Cosmos also works when accessed through mobile data. After restarting my optical terminal and router, I received a new public IPv4 address. The website loaded once, but shortly afterward it stopped responding again. I tested the connection using curl. The connection to port 443 is established successfully, the HTTPS/TLS handshake completes, and the GET request is sent, but the server returns no data. After 20 seconds, curl reports: curl: (28) Operation timed out after 20000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received The issue persists when using different DNS servers and when forcing a connection to the Cloudflare IP addresses. Restarting the router alone does not resolve it. Could you please check your Cloudflare/WAF settings, rate limits, and server logs for connections originating from Armenia or my ISP’s network? I can provide my current public IP address privately if needed.
Hello, my name is Sandro and I am developing ApexGrid
Hello, my name is Sandro and I am developing ApexGrid, an independent Formula 1 news and race companion application. I discovered F1 COSMOS and was very impressed by its live timing, Race Control messages, pit-stop data, team radio and circuit map. I would like to ask whether F1 COSMOS provides an official API, WebSocket feed or partnership option that could be integrated into another application. In particular, I would need to know: - which live data can be accessed; - whether caching and redistribution inside an app are permitted; - whether commercial use may be allowed in the future; - pricing and request limits; - expected data latency; - coverage of practice, qualifying, Sprint and race sessions; - whether circuit position, Race Control, pit-stop and team radio data are included; - required attribution and licensing conditions. I am not interested in scraping or copying your website. I would like to evaluate a proper authorized integration or possible collaboration. Thank you for your time. Best regards, Sandro ApexGrid
Keep screen awake
Hey everyone! Great app! On iPad, the screen turns off automatically when there's no interaction. It'd be awesome to have a setting to keep the screen awake.
Experimental 3D Drive & Race Replay for F1 COSMOS
Hi! I’m Kyungwon, a developer and an F1 fan. I started building a browser-based 3D circuit driving game simply because it was something I wanted to play myself. While developing it, I began exploring how the same 3D environment could also support race replays, onboard views, telemetry visualization, and interactive explanations of race events. I’ve deployed an early playable prototype here: https://f1-replay-las-vegas-2025.chjkw.chatgpt.site At the moment, the prototype mainly focuses on interactive driving. The 3D replay functionality is still being developed. I’d like to suggest exploring this as a small experimental or Labs-style feature for F1 COSMOS rather than as an immediate core feature. A first experiment could be: Keep the current interactive driving mode Add a limited 3D replay for one past session or selected laps Support follow, onboard, broadcast, and free-camera views Host and maintain the experiment separately at first Link it from F1 COSMOS only if the team finds it useful Gather feedback before considering deeper integration The project originally began as a circuit driving game, and I would like to keep that interactive mode as part of the experiment. A user could eventually watch a replay and then choose to drive the circuit or try to recreate a particular moment. This is not a commercial proposal, and I’m not requesting immediate access to F1 COSMOS data. I’d simply like to contribute as a fellow fan and openly develop the idea in a direction that could be useful to the F1 COSMOS community. I’m also open to completely different ideas. The F1 COSMOS team understands its users and roadmap better than I do, so I’d especially appreciate feedback on where an interactive 3D experience could provide the most value. Thanks for taking a look!
Same wind speed?
Wind speed the same as on F1 TV? One question is whether the weather data, specifically the wind speed, is exactly the same as on F1 TV. I think it's different, but I'm not sure.
I’ve been really enjoying using F1 Cosmos. If possible, could you add an option to remove the mini-sectors or make it so only the three main sectors (S1, S2, S3) are shown? The mini-sectors are too long, which makes it inconvenient to check tire conditions. It would be even better if the tire condition could be displayed right next to the driver’s name. Thanks a lot!

🚨 Notice regarding Bahrain GP in Sepang Practice 1
It seems the TrackMap driver tracker will not function properly during the Practice 1 session. It will likely be normalized in Practice 2, or at the latest, Practice 3. Other functions work normally.

Is it possible to download TR? Does this have any copyright concerns?
Selected driver deltas
On the old official F1 timing app, there used to be an option to just tap on the selected driver, and the app live calculated his deltas to all other drivers. This included sector times, intervals/gaps. I found this very useful to see at a glance how the selected driver was doing against the entire field.
Pause (live) telemetry
I was not able to join the race live, and started the race a few minutes late. It would be great to have an immediate play button to pause the telemetry dashboard to match where a person is watching from if not able to watch live. Maybe along with an adjustable bar that acts as a playback so you can adjust the timing of where you are joining the race?

Wheel of doom is excellent
Wheel of doom is great. Not sure how easy it would be to do but putting the average pit stop time for the circuit so if you click on a driver it would show where they would come out after a pit
F1-Cosmos team could add some advertisements to maintain this website
I’m not so sure about your team’s plan, but you guys could add some adds to maintain this website. In my opinion, this option is great because I think people in this community will agree because of the goodness of this website showing so far. P/s: I’m a writer of small F1 news so this website kinda useful lol.😅 Wish you all!
Over take mode
is there anyway you could show who has overtake mode on the timing screen

Hi Dev, would be great to add a Delay option to make easy to sync.

Hello everyone, the radio teams did not appear in the designated box, could you fix it?
bug in the tack map
Hello guys, it’s me enzo :D I believe that the map is bugged; the pilots do not follow the track line, often jumping from one point to another on the track map. Can this thing be corrected?
Design Suggestions from an F1 Fan — Thank You for Creating F1 Cosmos
Hi Conrad, this is a long message. Thank you for your time. I love F1 deeply. I even joined my university's Formula Student team as the first cross-city, cross-campus recruit. So when I found F1 Cosmos — free, professional, no registration — I was thrilled. I admire your skill and passion. Every race weekend, this tool brings me joy. Thank you. Because I love it so much, I noticed a few things that could be even better, and I want to share them with you as a design-loving fan. 1. Two Core Problems I see a systemic color differentiation issue at two levels: Problem A — Teams clash: · Ferrari's red vs Audi/Cadillac's red — nearly identical. · Aston Martin's green vs Mercedes' teal — too close. The gradation isn't wide enough. Your blue-team differentiation (Red Bull, RB, Williams) is excellent. I suggest applying that same logic to the red and green teams. Problem B — Teammates share the exact same "p2" style="margin: 0px; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; font-width: normal; font-size: 17px; line-height: normal; font-size-adjust: none; font-kerning: auto; font-variant-alternates: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-position: normal; font-variant-emoji: normal; font-feature-settings: normal; font-optical-sizing: auto; font-variation-settings: normal; min-height: 22px; caret-; ; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: auto; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-tap-highlight-; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration: none;"> · Norris and Piastri: identical papaya orange. · Antonelli and Russell: identical Mercedes teal. When comparing teammates, the identical colors blend together. This affects lap time charts, standings, and all other modules. 2. My Solution: A Two-Tier Color System Priority: Teams distinguishable first → Teammates distinguishable second Tier 1 — Unique team primary colors: · Ferrari: deep red · Audi/Cadillac: silver-gray (avoid red entirely) · Mercedes: teal · Aston Martin: deep British racing green · Red Bull: muted blue · RB: deep navy blue · Williams: bright cyan-blue · Mc

TR translation
I hope a TR translation function can be added, for example, by using publicly available free translation APIs such as Google Translate, Microsoft Translator, etc., or allowing users to use their own GPT API for translation. I can provide you with an example of a prompt: You are an expert in Formula 1 racing terminology and team radio communications. I will provide you with the original English transcript of a driver’s team radio message during an F1 race. Please translate the message into [target language], accurately conveying the driver’s intent while incorporating appropriate F1-specific jargon, context, and tone. Ensure the translation reflects the urgency, technical nature, or emotional nuance typical of real-time race communications. If any terms are ambiguous or context-dependent, use your F1 knowledge to infer the most plausible meaning.
